When archeologist Dr Laura Shepherd discovers her colleague dead clutching a mysterious crystal skull, she is catapulted into a shadowy world of strange omens, psychic phenomena and cryptic codes.

Her quest for the truth leads her to risk her career, her marriage, and even her life.
